Ritual of Self is a gentle, five-day retreat designed to nourish, restore, and reconnect you to yourself … through yoga, meditation, ritual, sound, journaling, sauna, and the serene beauty of the Swedish forest.

Both women and men are welcome to join.

What You’ll Experience

Over five days, you will be gently guided into practices that support rest, reflection, and reconnection. Each day carries a theme, allowing the retreat to unfold as a journey through body, mind, and heart:

Day 1 - Grounding
Arrive and settle into the forest’s embrace. Through gentle movement, breathwork, and mindful presence, you will feel your body and senses awaken, anchoring you in the here and now.

Day 2 - Presence
Slow down into the rhythms of your body and mind. Yoga, meditation, and journaling help you cultivate awareness of the subtle currents within and around you, discovering the beauty in simply being.

Day 3 - Devotion
Reconnect to your inner wisdom and life force. Through ritual, sound, and reflective practices, you will honour yourself, your body, and your desires, deepening self-love and acceptance.

Day 4 - Connection
Experience the joy of shared presence and the support of the circle. Workshops, movement, and collective rituals invite you to connect with others and with your own deeper truth.

Day 5 - Integration
Rest, reflect, and weave together your experiences. Time in nature, journaling, and gentle movement help you carry the insights, nourishment, and clarity from the retreat back into your everyday life.

Throughout the retreat, these themes are explored through yoga, meditation, embodied flows, yin practice, sound, journaling, ritual, sauna, and forest immersion, allowing your body and heart to gently open, restore, and integrate.

Setting & Sanctuary :

Our retreat will be held at the magical Shambala Gatherings in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden - a beautiful yoga community nestled deep in the forest and surrounded by shimmering lakes. It’s a place where nature holds you, silence softens you, and community welcomes you. Shambala has been hosting retreats for many years, and there’s a real sense of warmth and care in every corner of this space.

Getting to Shambala Gatherings :

To join us in the heart of nature for this retreat, fly into Stockholm, either Arlanda (the main international airport) or Västerås (a smaller regional airport with limited flights). Both have connections from the UK, though Arlanda is generally the easiest and most reliable option.

From the airport, take a train to Skinnskatteberg. Depending on your chosen connections, you may need to change trains along the way. The total journey takes around 3.5 hours.

Check in is from 3pm- I will make a a group chat closer to the time so all participants can check in / share travel arrangements and buddy up )

We’ll be nestled deep in the dreamiest Swedish nature, so the journey itself is part of the experience - a gentle transition from city pace to forest calm.

Regular train schedules will be shared closer to the time, but we highly recommend booking an early flight so you can travel with ease and without rush.

Once you arrive in Skinnskatteberg, we can organise a pickup to take you directly to the retreat centre.

  • Deposit: Reserve your spot with a £200 deposit - this secures your place and lets me start getting to know you before the retreat/ option to pay in full.

  • Full Payment: Pay the remaining balance at once, before the retreat begins.
